Button Quails

About 4 weeks ago I brought home a tiny trio of Button Quail. They were one day old and not much bigger than my thumb!


















Now they've feathered out and it's become obvious that one is a boy. His name is Peter (darkest one, he's mine) after Peter Furler of the Newsboys. The other two larger ones I believe are females and they're named Alice (belonging to Maddie) and Rosalie (white one belonging to Darrion) named after the vampires from Twilight.

    =) the pictures are kind'a spaced crazy... but hey, it fits those crazy birds, they are a little off, not as bright as Julian.
